Population II is a three piece. Young musicians from the suburbs of Montréal blending Rock n’ Roll, free Jazz and linear rhythms to create a rich & nuanced universe. Newly signed to Castle Face records (Thee Oh Sees) their songs are often a mixture of multiple ideas under the influence of spontaneity.
If this was the first draft of their bio, it would simply read : “Population II do what they do the way they do it” and honestly, it would be a very representative description of the ideology behind the project
