Sara-Danielle (Montreal, QC) is a singer-songwriter best known for making sweet and
sparkling ginger-soul — a blend of synth-pop, soul and R&B music. The artist conveys heavy
realities in a pleasant, light and digestible way, in order to bring a feeling of stability and
softness. Armed with a versatile and multi-textured voice, Sara-Danielle can capture any
listener with ease and her ethereal sound, natural stage presence and approachable girl-
next-door energy, charms audiences wherever she performs.
Her previous EP Healing (2019) on Ray-On Records was launched at International Festival
Pop Montreal in 2019 and earned her a spot on the front page of Bandcamp’s New and
Notable. Her singles Flawless, Waterfall and With You off Healing appeared on Spotify
playlists Indie-All Stars, Outliers, Fresh Finds, Indie Pop Chillout and New Music Fridays,
allowing her to reach an ever-growing North American audience.
The artist has opened for artists like Marie-Pierre Arthur, Heartstreets, Clay and Friends, and
Pomme. She was also invited to play an intimate set as part of Sofar Sounds Montreal in
2018.
Sara-Danielle has recently teamed up with producer Jesse Mac Cormack (Helena Deland,
Philippe Brach) for her newest single and video called scared, released October 30th 2020.
scared was featured on Spotify’s playlists Stay in Bed, Indie All-stars and Radar Canada,
topping over 45 000 monthly listeners and 70 000 streams in the month following the
release. Sara-Danielle will be back in the studio in 2021 to prepare new upcoming material.
